For example, let's say the executive coach would like to be reviewed. What are the kinds of questions you ask?

Performance reviews serve the purpose of providing accountability and measured results. As such, it would depend specifically on your industry. I would suggest by starting with the core functions of the individual being coached. How successful has the executive coach been at identifying areas of improvement? Have they taken time to assess the individual's strengths and how to best capitalize on them in the context of their work relationship? Have they met the individual’s expectations in improving how he/she is able to excel in the particular executive role/function? You could also use some of the standard metrics as well, timeliness, creativity, overachievement of tasks, etc. In creating performance systems many companies/corporations use a yearly measurement; I have had greater results using a monthly measurement. It helps my employees in continuously moving forward. In creating performance systems many companies use a yearly measurement, I have had greater results using a monthly measurement.
